Meet the team

Dale Webb, NASS CEO

Dale has overall responsibility for the management of all aspects of the charity. He works with the trustees and provides strategic direction and vision for NASS.

He is passionate about raising the profile of AS. 

Sally Dickinson, Information & Communications Manager


Sally runs the Helpline for anyone who has questions about AS. She has responsibility for all patient and member information produced by NASS including AS News, E-News and all our guides.

She writes and manages the content on the NASS website and looks after the NASS social media accounts.

Amardeep Gill, Supporter Engagement Manager Gill


Amardeep looks after all our wonderful NASS supporters. He manages existing sources of income and identifies and secures new forms of funding to support the work of NASS.

He also looks after all of our fantastic fundraisers who take part in and organise events for us. This year he's running our Mighty Orange MashUp Campaign.

Jill Hamilton, Development Manager

Jill develops new projects including our AS & You events, Back to Action and our Back Pain Plus campaign. She has the difficult task of organising all our events, including our annual Members' Day.

Jill also looks after policy and campaigning, engaging with local health services and continuing the AS it is campaign. She is our representative at National Voices, the Prescription Charges Coalition and the Disability Benefits Consortium.

Paul McGowan, Helpline & Volunteer Engagement Officer

Paul works with Sally on the NASS Helpline responding to queries and he also looks after and develops our network of 95+ NASS branches around the UK.

Paul would love to hear from you if you currently attend a NASS branch or if you are interested in helping set up a NASS branch in your local area.

Jakub Ochmanski, Communications & Project Officer

Jakub is our Communications and Project Officer. He is working for NASS on a short-term contract to launch our new AS one website and social media accounts including @NASS_ASoneFacebook and instagram. Do contact Jakub if you'd like to get involved with ASone.

He is also working on our new AS Clinic Near You project which aims to build a simple database of rheumatologists with an interest in AS and AS Clinics within the UK.

Justyna Potiopa, Finance and Administration Officer

Justyna looks after the NASS finances and manages all the day to day administration work at NASS. She's the person to contact if you have a query about your membership or need to renew.

She also looks after all our online shop orders so do get in contact if there's anything you are unsure about.
