If you are feeling adventurous you should consider taking part in an overseas event. Across the Divide have been running these events for many years and so are one of the leading operators for such challenges. These are a fantastic opportunity to see some of the world's most breathtaking sites - and raise money for NASS at the same time.

Cycling
London to Paris cycle - 3 June to 7 June 2011
London and Paris are two of the most famous cities in the world with some amazing sights to see. The London to Paris cycle not only takes in these two cities but also some of England and Wales' most beautiful countryside. The trip ends at the Eiffel Tower and includes a night's accommodation, food and the Eurostar back to London.
Euro Cities cycle -17 June to 21 June 2011
This exciting bike ride takes in London, Amsterdam and Brussels over 4 days. The route is nearly 300 miles and you will have time in Amsterdam, Breda and Brussels along the way. The trip includes a night's accommodation, food and the Eurostar back to London.
Dog Sledding
Arctic Circle - 6 February 2011 to 12 February 2011 & 28 February 2011 to 6 March 2011
This 7 day, 200 kilometre sledding experience takes place in the most northern country in Europe, Norway. This challenge will take you on a journey around the wilderness of the Arctic Circle, sledding on a frozen lake as well as taking in the Northern Lights. It all ends with a well-deserved hot tub and sauna before travelling back to London the next day.

Hamarøy - 3 July to 9 July 2011
Hamarøy in Norway where this kayaking event takes place, is blessed with dramatically beautiful scenery such as mountains, forests, islands, fjords and wide open sea. This is a unique opportunity to see some of Europe's most dramatic open water whilst enduring the challenge of kayaking for up to 6 hours a day.

The Great Wall of China is one of the most amazing sights you will ever see - 8,885 km long and the only man-made object that can be seen from space. Most tourists only see a small part of the wall but Across the Divide, as a result of their local contacts, have managed to come up with a trek that covers a much vaster area, with the unique experience of camping in rural China.
Mount Kilimanjaro - 15 September 2011 to 26 September 2011
Located in the North of Tanzania, Mount Kilimanjaro is the highest peak in Africa and the seventh highest in the world. This trek takes you to the remote north-eastern side of the peak and follows the Rongai Trail. A team of experts including a UK doctor and a UK mountain leader as well as a local team will make sure that this is fantastic but safe experience.
